How Do I Get My Daughter
Into Girl Scouts in Lake Forest?
In Lake Forest, there are Girl Scout troops in almost every
school, elementary to high school. The first step
is to make contact with a School Organizer at your daughter's school to see if
there are any troops with openings.
Hopefully, there is space in a troop at your daughter's school and she will be placed immediately.
Keep in mind, some troops currently have many girls and the
leader may feel
it's too large to add more. In that case your daughter will be placed on a
waiting list until space is available.
Our School Organizers do everything they can to find your
daughter a troop as soon as possible.
Please remember, our leaders are volunteers and busy moms just like you.
They would love to be able to help all girls.
But, it's better for a leader to take the amount of girls she can handle, then
to feel overwhelmed.
Your other option, if there are no available troops, is to
begin a new troop and become a leader. Your daughter will love it and
you will provide her and other girls with memories to last a lifetime.
Don't think you need to be a crafty-type person.
All you need is the desire to work with girls to help them discover new things.
