DAY CAMP

At this time, Day Camp planning has begun and it is too late to sign up to be a Camp Aide.
The only exceptions are Girl Scouts that have worked at day camp for 2+ years and are willing to accept any position.

There has been a change in how we acknowledge scout levels this year.  Girls will remain their current scout level throughout the summer.  This means that Camp Aides must currently be Cadettes or older in order to work at camp.  I apologize to all the 5th grade Junior Girl Scouts who were planning on working at camp this summer.  I hope you enjoy another great summer as campers!

All meetings will be held on Tuesdays,
 in the Community Room at the Foothill Ranch Library, unless otherwise specified.

Day Camp Meeting Schedule

Tuesday, March 13th, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Foothill Ranch Public Library
Station Leaders & Station Workers (interview for stations)

Tuesday, April 3rd, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Foothill Ranch Public Library
All Camp Aides (optional for 2+ years experience)
(vote on T-shirt, patch design & colors, etc.)

Tuesday, May 8th, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Foothill Ranch Public Library
All Camp Aides must attend!
(banner supplies, numbers given, camp plans finalized & shared)

Wednesday, June 6th, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Foothill Ranch Public Library
All Camp Aides who have not worked at camp before must attend!
 (camp training)

Sunday, June 24th, 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. @ Borrego Park in Foothill Ranch
All Camp Aides!
(finalize camp plans, decorate hats, ice cream social, pick-up shirts, etc.)

There Will be a Volunteer Adult Meeting on Sunday, June 24th, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Borrego Park
You may pick up your troops' t-shirts at this meeting.

Girl Scouts with 2+ years of day camp experience who wish to work at camp, but are not available to attend meetings, can still work at camp. 
However, she must register by the April deadline to be able to attend camp.  Drop in workers will not be allowed.
